In recognition of Clergy Appreciation Month, Hospice of Marshall County
will host a luncheon to honor local clergy for their tireless
commitment to their congregation and community.
This special event is Hospice of Marshall County’s way of
saying ‘thank you’ and to acknowledge the tremendous
contribution of and pressures facing religious leaders around
the world.
This luncheon is open to all clergy in the area will be
held on October 26th at 12 noon in the Community Room
at Hospice of Marshall County, located at 408 Martling Road.
The event will include a delicious lunch, followed by an
inspirational presentation from Bro. Max Roden, Pastor of Gilliam
Springs Baptist Church in Arab.
Bro. Roden’s involvement with Hospice of Marshall County
began years ago as a member of the Board of Directors, and
continues as a volunteer chaplain.
As an added bonus, clergy will also take away tools that
will offer strength and encouragement in their pastoral walk.
Rhonda Osborne, CEO of Hospice of Marshall County states,
“We realize that spiritual issues are important in all stages of
life, but especially at end-of-life.
Our local clergy are typically the ‘front line’ spiritual
caregivers and we want to thank them for their support of not only
Hospice of Marshall County, but the individuals we serve in our
hospice program as well.”
Space for this event is limited.
All area clergy are invited
and encouraged to attend.
