Shepherd's Cove ~ 10-Bed Inpatient Facility of Hospice of Marshall County |

HMC has a vision that began in the spring of 2005. That vision is a building called Shepherd’s Cove, which is a 10-bed inpatient hospice facility. This building houses HMC’s current home care offices as well as administrative offices for both home care and inpatient care. We are pleased to be able to offer another option of care when, for whatever reason, 24 hour monitoring by professionals is needed by not necessarily the “high tech” of a hospital. Shepherd’s Cove is located at 408 Martling Road in Albertville, Alabama. | Wesley Brock Memorial Chapel: Designed for
spiritual support to patients, their families, and to HMC team members.
It is the hope of HMC that the chapel will be not only a place of solace and
comfort, but also of celebration. The Rev. Wesley Brock served as HMC Chaplain for 10 years and was also President of the Board of Directors at the time the Board agreed to pursue the building of and inpatient facility. Wesley was convinced the Lord would guide HMC through this building project, therefore the chapel is named in honor of Wesley's enthusiasm for implementing this project and in memory of his many contributions to HMC. |

| Kid's Room: Is used for HMC's children's bereavement support groups, Caterpillar Kids and Rainbow Kids. It is also available as a playroom for children visiting at Shepherd's Cove. | ||

Family Living Room: Shepherd's Cove has three family visiting areas located in the inpatient wing. These rooms are designed to provide the feel of a den or living room versus an institutional waiting area. The family room pictured above is equipped with a full working kitchen for family's use. |
